It contains aloe vera gel, which I always have in my medicine cabinet. Hello, sunburn! Essentials oils and rubbing alcohol are also ingredients with I know many of you keep on hand as well.

Making your own hand sanitizer is also another great way to put a mason jar to good use. I think by now you know how much I love using mason jars for cooking and crafting. If you don’t have a spare mason jar at home, you can use a small plastic cosmetic bottle, a travel-sized shampoo bottle or another type of small glass jar.

How Do I Make DIY Hand Sanitizer Gift?

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the alcohol, aloe vera gel, and essential oils until well combined. Pour mixture into a small jar and place the lid on top.

Step 2

Print out the printable gift tag and cut out around the outer edge. Attach a gift tag to the top of the jar.
