Before summer rides off into the sunset, I thought I would share one more Sangria recipe with you – Peach-Blueberry Sangria. Of course Sangria can be served year round, but I love being able to use the Jersey Fresh fruit we grow here on our farm in mine. Peach and blueberry season will soon be ending so why not have a refreshing glass of Sangria and toast their fruity deliciousness!
Peaches and blueberries are a perfect combination for baking so I decided to create a Sangria centered around the pairing. Moscato wine and peach cider or peach juice are the highlight of this drink. I used peach cider for this drink. Fresh squeezed juices are a perfect way to enhance the flavor of any type of drink, especially Sangria. While I don’t have a juicer yet, it certainly is on my bucket list. Two types that I would love to have are: a Hurom Slow Juicer and a Vitamix Blender. A girl can wish.
Now, back to the Sangria. As I said before, I use Moscato wine as the base for this Sangria. It is my absolute favorite! I love a sweeter wine and it is perfect with the peach and blueberry combination. I then added some Jersey Fresh Peach Cider (you can also use peach juice), ginger ale, peach schnapps, fresh peach slices and fresh blueberries.
I mixed everything together and refrigerated for at least an hour so the fresh fruit absorbs the delicious Sangria taste. This Sangria is a true summer treat! I also love this recipe because it makes a lot. Sangria is a great party drink! It’s just delicious!
Let me know how you like it! I hope you enjoy. If you are looking for another Sangria for your next party, here is the link for my Strawberry Sangria. It is just as good. Cheers!
