Red or Green pepper finely diced

Red pepper flakes

Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 medium green or red pepper finely diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Chop pepper and set aside.
  3. Saute sausage in a pan on medium-high heat. Add pepper and cook until sausage is cooked through. Remove from heat.
  4. Spray a miniature muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray. Gently press a wonton into each cup. Add a heaping tablespoon of the sausage filling to the wonton. Top with some cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes of until golden brown.
