When I was brainstorming ideas on my next fun slime recipe to share with you, my main idea took a slight turn. Well, I guess you can say that my concept didn’t take a turn but the name of this project did. I originally planned to call this Stardust Slime, Glitter Glam Slime instead. I was going for the old Hollywood Glam appeal. But once I added the cute little stars to the glue, Stardust Slime seemed a much better name. Plus, the stars and the different glitters reminded me of stardust. So, that’s my story and I am sticking to it! Speaking of sticky, let me show you how easy it is to make a batch of Stardust Slime.

I experimented this go around and used a new recipe just to see which one I liked best. So far, I have made three different recipes. Just to refresh your memory, this Mermaid Slime uses liquid starch, this Vanellope von Schweetz Sweet Shop Slime uses borax and I used baking soda and contact solution to make this Stardust Slime.

Stardust Slime Supply List

8 ounces –  Clear School Glue

1 tablespoon – Baking Soda

2 tablespoons – Contact Solution

Chunky Gold Glitter

Extra Fine Gold Glitter

Silver Glitter

Black Glitter

Gold Confetti Stars

To give this Stardust Slime a galactic feel, I added a mix of gold, black and silver glitter to the glue. You didn’t forget about my glitter obsession, did you? Once you mix it all together, then stir in the baking soda, followed by the contact solution.

Now here is my honest opinion about this slime recipe. I found it much more sticky than the other two recipes. Adding more contact solution will help to make it less sticky, but I prefer the borax recipe out of all three. So I experimented even more and to get the Slimy but not sticky feel, let this recipe sit out overnight uncovered and it was much easier to play with.
