Walnut And Blue Cheese Brussels Sprouts

Think you don't like Brussels Sprouts? Think again. This tasty Walnut And Blue Cheese Brussels Sprouts recipe is the perfect side dish that will definitely change your mind.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Brussels Sprouts, cut in half
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut brussels sprouts in half. Set aside.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add walnuts and toast for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove walnuts from skillet and set aside.

  3. Heat oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper. Sautee for 5 minutes until brussels sprouts begin to carmelize. Lower heat to medium and add chopped bacon and walnuts. Cook for another 10 minutes.

  4. Add 3/4 cup of blue cheese to the pan. Toss to coat. Remove from the pan to a serving dish. Top with remaining blue cheese.
