Easy Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15.5 ounce can Wholesome Pantry Dark Red Kidney Beans drained
  • 1 15.5 ounce can Wholesome Black Beans drained
  • 1 can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 packet Frontera Beef Taco Skillet Sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablesoons canola oil
  • Frontera Roasted Tomato Salsa, for garnish
  • Wholesome Pantry Mild Cheddar Cheese, for garnish
  • Chopped Fresh Cilantro, for garnish
  • Diced jalapenos, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with canola oil. Add ground turkey and Frontera Taco Skillet sauce and saute until cooked through.

  2. Transfer to the crock of the slow cooker. Add beans, corn, seasoning and crushed tomatoes.

  3. Cook 7 hours on low or 4 hours on high heat.

  4. Garnish with a dollop of Frontera Roasted Tomato Salsa, Wholesome Pantry Mild Cheddar Cheese, fresh cilantro and diced jalapenos
