In small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of M&M's® Red Velvet candy and 1/2 cup of light cream to make a syrup.

In a clear plastic bag, crush 1 cup of candy. You will need 1/2 cup to mix into the shake and 1/2 cup to dip rim of glass into.

Cook on low until candy is dissolved. Set aside and cool completely.

Fill cup of milkshake blender or regular blender with ice cream. Add milk, 1/3 cup of M&M's® Red Velvet syrup, and 1-2 tablespoons of red velvet cake mix. Blend well.

Milkshake will be very thick.

Once blended, stir in 1/2 cup of the remaining crushed M&M's® Red Velvet. You can either stir in by hand or on low speed for just a few seconds.

Gently wet the rim of a tall glass with water, dip rim in 1/2 cup of the reserved candy. Fill glass and top with whipped cream and remaining crushed M&M's® Red Velvet candy.
