Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Ham and Apples

Roasting brussels sprouts brings out their unique sweet flavor. Pairing them with apples and maple syrup adds even more delicious flavor to their caramelization. This dish is a perfect Thanksgiving side!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Jersey Fresh Brussels Sprouts halved
  • 1/4 pound thick sliced ham diced
  • 1 Jersey Fresh Apple diced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Wash brussels sprouts and cut in half. Add to mixing bowl.
  3. Dice ham and apples into bite sized cubes. Add to mixing bowl with brussels sprouts.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, add oil, vinegar and maple syrup. Whisk until incorporated.
  5. Add the dressing to the brussels sprouts and mix.
  6. Pour on a sheet pan and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
