Welcoming Fall In The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander
Thank you, Mitsubishi for allowing me to drive a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander for one week. Opinions are 100% my own. #DriveMitsubishi
Hats off to one of the quickest summers ever. Seriously, where did the time go? Now that we officially have the first week of fall under our belts, how does it feel. Pretty hectic, right? What is it about fall and chaos? Once the kids start back to school, the endless carpooling, shuffling and scheduling kicks into high gear. Recently, I had the opportunity to test drive the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander for a week thanks to DriveShop. This solid vehicle was a good way to usher in the fall season.
I test drove the Mitsubishi Outlander GT 3.0 S-AWC. Phew, that’s a mouthful. With a 224hp V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission, the Outlander was a solid vehicle that got me to where I needed to go. That included some Back To College shopping with Gabrielle before I dropped her off in Boston and shuffling AJ to and from his various social activities.
The Mitsubishi Outlander GT comes standard with 7-passenger seating. But in all honesty, the third row was very small and cramped. Still, there was enough room to seat five comfortably. The rear cargo area was pretty roomy too once the third row of seats were down.
The vehicle’s 7″ display was a great size. From here, you can control your phone, bluetooth, and 710-watt Rockford-Fosgate® premium audio system. This model did not have a navigation system which I was disappointed but access to the other controls was easy to use.
I liked the advanced safety features like Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert that the Outlander was equipped with. Overall, the exterior had a nice rugged feel too.
MY FAVORITE FEATURES OF THE 2017 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER GT 3.0:
- 224-hp, 3.0-liter MIVEC V6 engine
Whether you are running errands, shuffling the kids here and there, or going on a grand adventure, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander is up for the challenge. It’s rugged, roomy and definitely reliable for getting you and your family where you have to go
