Thank you AXE® for sponsoring this post. As always, opinions are 100% my own.
School is cool! Guys, make it even cooler with AXE® and these 7 Ways For Teen Boys To Have A Cool School Year.
As the mom of a teenage boy, I am learning a lot from A.J. about what is cool…and what is not. For instance, it is not cool to comment on every single one of his social media posts. Not cool, mom. It is not cool to hug, kiss and swoon all over him in front of his friends (although I have been known to sneak a kiss or two). Not cool.
It is cool to rock that teen boy swag with a new back to school wardrobe. Very cool. And, more importantly, it is cool to smell fresh like a champ. Hygiene…super cool.
As A.J. enters his sophomore year of high school, there are a few necessities on his back to school shopping list including a hip wardrobe, a pair or two of killer treads and AXE YOU Body Spray, AXE Signature Gold Dry Spray and AXE Signature Night Dry Spray to keep him smelling fresh and clean each day.
No stank allowed in this house. AJ has used AXE products since he hit that “boy stank” phase in life; otherwise known as the teenage years. Did you know that 64% of young guys think body spray and dry spray are the same thing? And that 1 in 2 guys think that they should apply body spray to their underarms?

That’s wrong! AXE YOU Body Spray is used to smell fresh all-day long. And don’t let him get stuck in a cloud of AXE either. Not good! To smell great, simply apply AXE deodorant body spray in a “7” motion across your chest, and for only as long as it takes to say the word “AXE.”
AXE dry spray antiperspirant is used to help stay dry for up to 48 hours. Simply apply AXE dry spray antiperspirant under your arms for sweat protection (in place of an antiperspirant stick). AJ even keeps some in his gym bag to use at school.

The start of each school year is a new chapter. Starting with a clean slate is a good thing! And while some may still be wishing for laid back summer days, back to school season means homework and an adjustment to a new school year. It’s all good. To help your teenage son have a successful year, here are 7 Ways for Teen Boys to Have A Cool School Year.
Take care of yourself – Proper hygiene and a good night sleep are both very important to success in school. Don’t forget to pack the AXE in your gym bag too!
Get involved – Getting involved in clubs, after school activities, and sports is a great way make new friends and soak up some of that school spirit!
Ask for help – Teachers are more than willing to give extra help in the subjects they teach. If you are unsure of something or need a little reinforcement, ask them for help. That is what they are there for.
Be kind and considerate to others – The old saying “treat others as you would want to be treated” is still important to this day. A little kindness goes a long way.
Try your best – Not everyone is a straight A student and that is OK. Try not to stress and do the best work you possibly can.
Manage Your Time Wisely – Good organizational skills are important for success in school. Use a planner, do your homework and don’t procrastinate.
Don’t be a drama mama – Stay out of conflict and drama. It can take the focus away from the main reason you are there – to learn!
School really is cool. Help your son have a successful year by sharing these tips with him.
