Here are a few spooktacular tips for a spectacular Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party experience.

Book in Advance

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a limited experience, tickets go very quickly and I would recommend booking as early as you can. These tickets are not like a regular Disney ticket in which you can use it any day within a certain time period, you have to actually purchase the tickets for the specific date you would like to attend because as I stated before, tickets are limited. Ticket prices start at $79 in advance but get more expensive the closer it is to Halloween. Halloween night is the most expensive ticket prices topping off at $135 per ticket.

Prepare to Pay for Parking

In past years parking was included with your Ticket purchase, unfortunately, this is no longer the case so just be prepared to have to pay for the parking price when you go to visit.

Keep Your Wristband On

When you are attending the Halloween Party you are given a wristband because you can actually enter the park as early as 3 hours prior to the start of the party but PLEASE do not remove or lose your wristband. Cast Members will periodically check for your wristband throughout the night and you don’t want to be caught without it.

Dress Up!

Costumes and dress up ARE completely okay at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Keep them family-friendly and safe for everyone but, embrace the holiday and dress up as your favorite character. Masks covering the entire face are not allowed. Here is the complete set of costume rules and guidelines from the Disney Parks website.

Trick or Treat

Of course, you cannot celebrate Halloween without Trick-Or-Treating! That’s what is so great about the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, not only do you get this extravagant Halloween experience but you don’t miss out on all the free candy. Disney doesn’t age discriminate either, so don’t be afraid to get yourselves some candy too parents!

Utilize Your Extra Time

As I stated previously, you are able to enter the park 3 hours prior to party time, I would definitely recommend coming at that time and utilizing as much time that you can spend at the park as possible. Planning is key. You will definitely want to get your money’s worth!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party really is a phenomenal experience but keep in mind that it is a Disney event and can be on the pricey side. I would recommend saving up for this and doing making it an extra special experience. Unless you have a lot of funds it may not be something that you are able to attend regularly. I think it is well worth the price and it gives you a different twist for Halloween. If you are looking for something else fun and special to do with your family and loved ones, I would highly recommend attending the Epcot Food and Wine Festival which coincides with this.
