DIY Minnie Mouse Pumpkin
This adorable no-carve DIY Minnie Mouse Pumpkin is a kid-friendly Disney Halloween craft.
I am all about cute Halloween decorations. I am also all about having a little piece of Disney magic in my home during each holiday too. Today, I am sharing with you another kid-friendly Disney Halloween craft. This DIY Minnie Mouse Pumpkin is made with a craft pumpkin so you can use it year after year. I would have to say, like Minnie, this pumpkin is the best dressed Halloween decoration in town! I have a whole bunch of Disney Inspired Pumpkin Ideas that you can recreate yourself. Be sure to check them out.
Here is what you need to make this DIY Minnie Mouse Pumpkin
- Craft Pumpkin
- Black Spray Paint
- Bright Pink Glitter Blast (Spray Paint)
- 3/8″ Rhinestone Gems
- Adhesive Rhinestone Tape Trim
- Pink Polka Dot Ribbon
- Scissors
- Craft Wire
- Glue Dots
Start by spray painting the pumpkin black. I applied 2 coats. Once dry, take some painters tape and mask out Minnie’s skirt – about 1/3 from the bottom. You are going to spray paint the bottom half of the pumpkin pink. The Glitter Blast is a spray paint and glitter all in one. Very cool. Be sure to cover or protect the top half so the black stays black.
Once dry, now you can start bedazzling Minnie. She likes pretty bling. Run a strip of adhesive rhinestone trim around the top of her skirt. This will also help cover any smudges.
Finish off the skirt by using glue dots to adhere the rhinestone bling around Minnie’s skirt.
Minnie never leaves home without her bow. This Minnie Pumpkin shouldn’t either. You can adhere it with glue dots or some hot glue. On the cuteness scale, this DIY Minnie Mouse Pumpkin is an 11. She surely is the best-dressed girl in town – and the perfect Halloween decoration too. It’s the perfect companion to the Mickey Mouse Wall Pumpkin which I shared last year.
