One way that allows me to catch my breath from the fall frenzy is to meal plan. Planning and preparing dinner in advance is a real time-saver. Plus, it’s one less thing to worry about. This Grilled Chicken Parmesan Pasta Bake is a family favorite that I often make ahead so we still have time to enjoy a hearty family dinner before running out the door to the next activity.

One ingredient that I always have on my pantry shelf for a quick meal like this is Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce. It has a homemade taste my family loves and is made with real ingredients. Since we are pasta lovers, Prego® Italian Sauce comes in very handy when I want to create a simple meal for the family.

Another reason why I like making this dish so much is that it essentially is a one-pot meal. With the exception of the cutting board and knife to cut the chicken, making this Grilled Chicken Parmesan Pasta Bake is a breeze from start to finish. The ingredients can all be mixed in the same pot you boiled the pasta in. Bonus points for less pots to clean!

Chicken parmesan is my favorite dish to order out! So I put a spin on the my favorite meal by using grilled chicken, Prego® Italian Sauce, and mozzarella cheese and mixing it together with rotini pasta to create this easy pasta dish. Another way to save time in preparing this dish is to pre-grill the chicken breasts and freeze them until ready to use. I always keep grilled chicken in my freezer for salads and meals like this one.
