So This Is Love Valentine Art With Free Printable And Cut File
Any Disney fan would love this So This Is Love Valentine Art With Free Printable And Cut File
Every since I was a child, Valentine’s Day has always held a special place in my heart (see what I did there). Really, it does. I love the cute crafts that my now teens used to make as kids, the adorable Valentine recipes and the infamous Valentine’s Day cards that my kids would spend hours painstakingly addressing for their classmates.
Because I like to incorporate Disney into every holiday, I wanted to share this Disney-inspired So This Is Love Valentine Art with you. Cinderella would be so excited. She is one of my favorite Disney princesses, after all. She also happens to have a prime piece of real estate smack dab in the middle of the Magic Kingdom. She’s a big deal! And if you haven’t started humming the tune “So This Is Love” yet, you will be by the end of this post.
I broke this project down into two versions – beginner version and an intermediate version.
Here is the beginner version. Download the picture below, print and frame. That takes literally no effort at all. Easy peasy!
You will need a few supplies to make the intermediate version. Head to the craft store and grab a 12 x 12 canvas, some pink paint, a sponge, and some red and pink buttons. You will also need a Silhouette Cameo to print out the vinyl.
Now, take a sponge and dip in the pink paint. Dab sporadically over the canvas. This is simple and gives the background a delicate look. Allow the paint to dry. While the paint is drying, download the cut file and use your Silhouette to print it out on some black vinyl.
After you adhere the vinyl to the canvas, you can start to layout your buttons. I just love buttons. Ok, that was random, but I really do.
You will need some good quality craft glue to secure the buttons. I made three hearts in a totally random pattern. Use your creativity.
So this is love…da da da da. I literally hummed (because I can’t sing) that song the whole entire time my creative juices were flowing. This is the perfect Valentine’s Day craft to celebrate the season of love. You get bonus points from me if you are a Disney fan too.
