DIY Toy Story Pumpkin
Buzz Lightyear to Star Command. Halloween is around the corner and we are beaming up this rootin-est tootin-est fun DIY Toy Story Pumpkin. The toys, I mean kids will love this easy Disney craft.
Hey howdy hey folks! Andy, Buzz and friends are getting ready for a fun-filled Halloween. This super simple DIY Toy Story Pumpkin is the perfect way to celebrate. I am back today with another fun Disney pumpkin to add to my Disney Inspired Pumpkin Ideas collection. I am starting to sound like Ariel by trying to think my collection’s complete. But it’s not. I am still crafting away on these fun Disney-inspired pumpkin ideas.
So I am a huge fan of the Toy Story movies. Well, I guess you can say I am a HUGE fan of all things Disney & Pixar, but you probably already know that. I have seen the movies so many times with the kids that we often quote lines from the movies.I just booked my next trip to Walt Disney World too so I am equally excited to visit Toy Story Land. So it was only natural that I recreated the iconic yellow Luxo Ball from the movie. The thing I love about creating these no-carve Disney pumpkins is that there is no carving involved. Um yeah, I guess that is why they call them no-carve pumpkins. Anyway, I was never very good at carving so I like to stick with this method.
Make Your Own DIY Toy Story Pumpkin Supplies
- Pumpkin
- Yellow Spray Paint or Yellow Acrylic Paint
- Cricut Machine (optional)
- Red Adhesive Vinyl
- Blue Adhesive Vinyl
- Paper Cutter or scissors
- Star (download here)
So here is the deal with this project. If you have a Cricut Machine, you can use it to cut out the star. If you don’t have a Cricut or don’t feel like using it, print the star out on a piece of paper and then trace it on the red adhesive vinyl. Use your scissors to cut out the shape.
Same goes for the blue strips. You can use a paper cutter to cut two 2″ thick strips of blue adhesive vinyl or just use scissors to cut. I am all about making life easy, and this Toy Story Pumpkin is pretty easy. I think it took me all of 10 minutes.
So what do you think? I think this is definitely not a “sad, strange little pumpkin.” Perfect for Toy Story loving Disney fans.
