Tropical Punch Lip Scrub
Soothe and exfoliate those chapped lips with this easy DIY Tropical Punch Lip Scrub that you can make at home.
If I tell you that I am obsessed with beauty products, would you believe me? It’s true. This farm girl loves eyeshadow palettes, watching YouTube makeup tutorials and learning about all the hot trends in the beauty industry. Shocking, right? Not really, I just believe that everyone deserves to look and feel beautiful.
One thing that I absolutely hate is chapped lips. Not only do chapped lips not feel good, but they mess up my lipstick application….and that’s a no-no. So, I have a simple solution to cure those rough lips – exfoliate them with some homemade Tropical Punch lip scrub. Homemade beauty scrubs are pretty simple to make at home. I have shared a few of my favorites here like Peppermint Sugar Scrub and this Cinnamon Sugar Scrub.
Here’s how to make your own Tropical Punch Lip Scrub
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 cup coconut oil
- 4 drops of vitamin E oil
- 2 drops Tropical Punch Flavoring
- 2 drops pink food coloring (optional)
- 2-ounce glass cosmetic containers
Are you ready for these complex directions? Brace yourself. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix. That’s it! The scrub mixture should be moist but not saturated. Add some more coconut oil if the scrub is too dry.
I like to store the Tropical Punch Lip Scrub in 2-ounce glass cosmetic containers. They are a perfect size. You should get three containers out of one batch of scrub. You can change up the flavor too just by changing out the flavored oil.
How To Use Lip Scrub
- Moisten lips with water.
- Take a generous amount of the Tropical Punch Lip Scrub and rub over your lips.
- Rinse with water and then apply lip balm.

This may be a silly question, but I was planning to make this lip scrub as favors for a bridal shower, how far in advance can I make these? Will it separate at all?
