I have a confession to make, snacks are my downfall. It’s no secret in my house that I love “picky foods”, especially during football season! I love to munch and crunch while watching my favorite football team. Who’s with me? My idea of football snacks are appetizers that can be made in a pinch, are packed with a ton of flavor, and made with simple ingredients. Say hello, my friends, to my 6-ingredient Cowboy Barbecue Nachos made with Farm Rich Boneless BBQ Chicken Bites. Be sure to check out Farm Rich’s Back Your Snack Contest which is in full swing and you can help one lucky contestant win $10,000!!!
You can attend one of these WalMart demos listed here and vote for the Back Your Snack Contest finalists on 10/8, 10/9 and 10/11. You can find the complete list of rules here. To get this party started, I shopped at WalMart for all the ingredients I needed to make these Cowboy Barbecue Nachos, including the Farm Rich BBQ Chicken Bites. I shopped the Walmart fresh produce section too and grabbed a nice fresh tomato for the recipe as well.
Made with Farm Rich Boneless BBQ Chicken Bites, these nachos are full of flavor and crunch! I love that they only require 6 ingredients and very little time to prepare. No one wants to spend their time prepping food in the kitchen when your favorite team is on television!
Begin by baking the boneless chicken bites according to the package directions. I remove them from the oven, slice them into smaller pieces and then add the packet of tangy barbecue sauce that is included in the box.
Now it’s time to start assembling the nachos. Place a layer of tortilla chips on the bottom of a baking dish. Add a generous amount of cheese {the cheesier the better, if you ask me!}, the beans and top with the cooked Farm Rich Boneless BBQ Chicken Bites. Pop this in the oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese is nice and melted.
Remove from the oven and add some extra barbecue sauce and the diced tomatoes before serving. That’s it! Simple, easy and delicious. Your family will be amazed at how delicious these are. You’ll have them at the first “crunch”!
You can make a meal out of these hearty nachos. Your favorite football team may not always be winner, but you will score BIG by serving these nachos to your family and friends. They are cheesy, crispy and loaded with delicious barbecue flavor. How do you like to celebrate game day? Leave me a comment below and let me know if these Cowboy Barbecue Nachos will make an appearance.
