Summer is just around the corner and I love cool treats to balance the hot summer days. If you are a fan of citrus, lime to be exact, I have the perfect cool down treat for you. These lime popsicles are so refreshing and delicious. Some may think popsicles are just for the young folk….a.k.a. the kids, but not in my house. I love them.
The fruitier, the better!
I guess I am a big kid at heart because I have been known to enjoy a fruit popsicle or two quite often during the summer months. Oh who am I kidding, I enjoy popsicles a year long.
Popsicles are so simple to make. The only special “tool” you will need is a popsicle mold. This lime popsicle recipe only calls for three ingredients. And it’s a diary-free recipe too.
Ingredients Needed To Make Limeade Popsicles
Water
Sugar
Lime Zest (optional)
How To Make Lime Popsicles
In a small pan, bring water to a simmer and whisk in sugar until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Whisk in fresh lime juice until fully incorporated. Carefully pour the mixture into the popsicle mold. Freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
Cool and refreshing! Give these lime popsicles a try. You can’t go wrong with only three ingredients!

Ingredients

- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- Optional: lime zest
Instructions
