I have become quite obsessed lately with all the fun slime recipes you can make. Seriously, you can make a themed slime for any holiday or special occasion. You can check out my entire collection of fun slime recipes here.

It is just plain fun! Remember the Pirate’s Booty Slime and Disney Princess Slime I recently shared? They have been a big hit on Pinterest. So naturally, my wheels were turning thinking of what kind of slime I can create next.

Since the Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are right around the corner, why not make some fun Patriotic Party Slime?

If you are hosting a patriotic celebration, this is a fun craft to keep the kids busy. It stores perfectly in the clear condiment containers so they can take it home as a party favor.

If you are not crazy about the combination of kids, glue, and glitter at your home, make a batch of party slime ahead of time and have it all ready before the party starts.

How To Make Slime:

Add the glue, glitters, and stars to a glass bowl and mix together. Slowly stir in the liquid starch 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency. The more starch you add, the harder the slime will be.

Once the slime is a perfect consistency, divide evenly amongst the small condiment cups.

Materials

  • 1 cup Clear Elmer’s Glue
  • 1/4 cup – 1/3 cup Liquid Starch
  • Red Fine Glitter
  • White Chunky Glitter
  • Red & Blue Star Confetti
  • Clear Condiment Containers
  • Star Buttons (to decorate container lids)

Instructions

  1. Add the glue, glitters, and stars to a glass bowl and mix together.
