1900 Park Fare
The Grand Floridian has some of the most elegant and sophisticated dining and scenery in all of Walt Disney World. 1900 Park Fare continues the Victorian theming and has one of Disney World’s stand out breakfasts. The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast features surprise characters. Some of whom are Mary Poppins herself, Alice, the Mad Hatter, or even Tigger and Pooh.
The food is served buffet style and features a cooked to order omelet and egg station as well as a wide array of breakfast foods to enjoy.
Lisa Cameron from Adventures in Familyhood – “I absolutely love the character interaction at this experience. The buffet is big and varied, and includes their famous strawberry soup. Plus can also have ice cream for breakfast.”
Tina M. Brown from Footprints In Pixie Dust – “Character interaction was AMAZING. There is a wide array of delicious food options (I mean, strawberry soup and lobster eggs benedict, people), bright and cheery atmosphere, adorable photo opportunity and you can’t beat the proximity to Magic Kingdom.”
The Crystal Palace
The Magic Kingdom is the prime destination for character dining experiences. Crystal Palace is among the best of the best. This breakfast buffet includes a scrambled egg and omelet station. The menu is similar to 1900 Park Fare, but unlike the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast, The Crystal Palace specifically caters to fans of Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.
Garden Grill
In the luscious Land Pavilion of Epcot’s Future World is a rotating restaurant that features food grown right within the attraction. It also overlooks the boat ride below. This is a prime dining spot to get some terrific family style breakfast with special character meet and greets from Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.
Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake headlines this meal of delicious breakfast staples including Mickey-shaped waffles with a warm chocolate hazelnut drizzle.
Megan Miller from Gingy Love – “Garden Grill because not only do the servers treat you like family but the characters do as well. It was the first time on our vacation that we could sit back and enjoy a meal with our toddler.”
Tammy Graham from Living The Disney Dream – “Garden Grill is my favorite Character Dining experience. The characters are able to visit your table multiple times and are much more interactive than at other locations.”
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Cinderella’s Royal Table is a must do for any Disney guest to try at least once. You get to meet with Disney princesses and eat inside the castle in the royal banquet hall. The atmosphere is magical and the menu is stepped up from most of the other breakfasts in Disney World. It starts with a pastry plate, which is followed up by an entree selection that is diverse and impossible to choose poorly.
Cinderella’s Royal Table also serves wine and beer and if you book your reservation early enough you can get a head start on some of the rides in the park. That’s just a couple of the extra perks that come with dining in Disney Worlds most Iconic location.
Carrie Hurst from A Princess And Her Pirates – “Cinderella’s Royal Table is my favorite character dining experience. I think the princesses are always happy to see you, and in our experience, they spent quite a bit of time at our table interacting with us.”
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast
Even better than Cinderella’s Royal Table food-wise is the character breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno. At this Boardwalk, guests are treated to similar breakfast courses and great tasting food that shatters the conventional breakfast mold. The character experience is as unique as the dining with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider teaming up with Ariel and Prince Eric. The character interaction is fun and there are bursts of interactive elements for the kids. In addition, it is also one of the most affordable character dining experiences.
Theresa Mabe from In Sight Full Life – “The Tangled and Little Mermaid themed pastries that start the meal are as delicious as they are adorable. The character interactions with Ariel, Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were some of the best I’ve had at Walt Disney World, and from watching the families around me, I could tell others felt the same. Plus, the waitress kept asking if she could bring us more plates of bacon every time she saw ours was empty. What’s not to love?”
