You owe it to yourself to experience Walt Disney World without kids.
Why? There are a number of reasons why Disney World for adults is a Must-Do experience.
Reason 1: It is much less stressful without the children. You don’t have to worry about tired, worn out, crying kids. You only have to worry about YOU. Now if you get tired, worn out and start crying, that is all on you.
Reason 2: You get to see a different side of Disney. You can experience resorts, restaurants, and attractions you may not get to see with the entire family. This includes the many adult experiences, bars and restaurants which I talk about below.
Reason 3: You can plan your Disney trip on your terms. Meaning, you can take a laid back approach or you can hit the ground running. Either way, you do you. If you like to park hop, then park hop. If you like to resort hop, then take in as many resorts as you can. You get the idea.
How To Plan The Ultimate Disney Vacation

The Best Disney World Dining for Adults
There are plenty of different types of dining at Walt Disney World. From festival kiosks in Epcot to Food trucks in Disney Springs, there are a lot of variations that surpass your typical fast food window and standard theme park burger and fries.
Walt Disney World features some excellent fine dining as well, which is perfect for an adult dining experience. The best places to go are at The Landing in Disney Springs. The Edison especially makes a smart choice after 10:00 pm when it officially becomes adults only.
The Best Nightlife in Walt Disney World
Disney Springs is an excellent location for adults to experience the nightlife in Disney World. With Lounges, bars and other nightspots, The Landing and the Westside are ideal night spots in Disney World for adults.
Some places even have late-night happy hour menus. Disney Springs has always had a history of adult-friendly entertainment, But one resort in Walt Disney World also provides an engaging nighttime experience just for grownups. The Boardwalk Inn offers beautifully lit scenery, outstanding restaurants, bars, lounges, and dancing.
The Best Drinks
Most bars in Walt Disney World offer a very uniform menu of specialty cocktails, but there are some places where you can get incredible tasting and unique drinks inside the parks. In Epcot, you can find drinks suited to just about every region in the world, but La Cava Del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion is the best place for tequila and well-crafted margaritas with fresh ingredients.
Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom has its own signature drinks, including The Tempting Tigress and Kungaloosh, a beer made just for Animal Kingdom by Samuel Adams. When Galaxy’s Edge opens in Hollywood Studios, the whole land will feature unique Boosey beverages, from the blue and green milk to the cocktails in Oga’s Cantina.
Adults Only Tours
Adults can have fun in the theme parks as well by taking tours that are designed specifically for adults only. Each of the theme parks has guided tours you can pay extra for. Each experience has a recommended age.
While many of the tours are ideal for all ages, some are exclusively for adults. DestiNations Discovered at Epcot is just one example. The 6-hour tour of the World Showcase includes backstage access and lunch at the UK pub Rose and Crown.
Best Resorts
If you are booking your stay, and want a resort that is more adult-focused, be aware that all hotels are family-friendly. However, out of the way, deluxe hotels like Saratoga Springs and Animal Kingdom Lodge are excellent choices for a more adult feel.
Yacht Club is ideal for adults in the Epcot resort area, as opposed to Beach Club, which favors families. For convenience and amenities, The Grand Floridian and Contemporary are also outstanding options in Disney World for adults.
