Potatoes are a staple in our house. My hard-working farmer is a meat and potatoes kind of guy and so am I. Yep, I love potatoes and could seriously survive on them if my cupboards were bare. Ok, if you know me that is likely never to happen but I am not ashamed to profess my love of potatoes. Today, I am lightening things up a bit with this Air Fryer Potato Wedges with Parmesan and Rosemary recipe.
Talk about an elegant and simple dish, these air fryer potatoes are really a fantastic side dish. They’re quick and easy and can be served with many main courses, making them a great pairing with almost anything you’re cooking for dinner. The flavors are so good, they’re a little crunchy, and a little creamy, and a lot delicious. This is sure to be a favorite!
I am a big fan of air frying. Using an air fryer is the best way to save some calories. It’s much healthier than deep frying. This recipe is quick to make and much better than using a deep fryer.
What Ingredients Do I Need To Make this Air Fryer Parmesan Rosemary Potatoes recipe?
Although these are simple ingredients, this recipe packs a lot of flavor.
Baby Yukon Gold Potatoes (You can also use russet potatoes)
Parmesan cheese
Fresh Rosemary
Olive Oil Spray
Butter
Garlic Salt
Black Pepper
How Do I Make Air Fryer Potato Wedges?
Follow these simple steps for the best results. Using the air fryer is a great way to make crispy potatoes.
Step 1
Wash the potatoes in a colander, and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Step 2
Cut the potatoes in half, and place them in a large bowl. Spray the Potatoes with the Olive oil, until well coated. Sprinkle garlic salt and fresh Rosemary over Potatoes, and generously grate fresh Parmesan cheese over potatoes, until they’re coated in cheese.
Step 3
Place the potatoes in a single layer cut side down in the air fryer basket, and set the time for 8 minutes. While the Potatoes are cooking, melt the two Tablespoons of butter the Microwave, and sprinkle a little garlic salt in the butter. Sprinkle a little pepper in the butter.
NOTE: You can add as much, or as little pepper, or garlic salt as you want to the butter. Keep in mind Potatoes need quite a bit of salt to make them really flavorful. If you want to measure the garlic salt, I’d say add about 1/2 a teaspoon to the butter.
When the potatoes are done, remove them from the basket of the air fryer. Add them to a large mixing bowl, and toss them in the garlic pepper butter. Place them in a serving dish, and grate a little more Parmesan cheese over the Potatoes. Garnish these crispy air fryer potato wedges with sprigs of fresh Rosemary. Serve, and Enjoy! This easy recipe makes a perfect side dish.
