If you like spicy food, try this Nashville Hot Chicken recipe. You can leave your chicken soaking in a marinade before coating it and cooking it to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup dill pickle juice
  • 3 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • Coating:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp hot sauce
  • Sauce:
  • 2 Tbsp. Hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in a large storage bag. Add the ingredients for the marinade and cover and chill for 4 hours.
  2. Cover a baking sheet with paper towels.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on the baking sheet, set to the side.
  4. In a small bowl add the flour, panko, cornstarch, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk to combine.
  5. In a separate small bowl add the eggs, buttermilk and hot sauce.
    Whisk to combine.
  6. Dredge the chicken tenders in the four mixtures, then the buttermilk mixture, then back into the flour mixture.
  7. Place the chicken back on the baking pan. Repeat until all of the tenders are coated. Set to the side for 20 minutes.
  8. Lightly spray the grill with Avocado oil.
  9. Place the chicken in the Ninja set to 370 degrees for 8 -14 minutes.
  10. In a small bowl add hot sauce and brown sugar whisk to combine.
  11. Lightly coat your chicken tenders with the hot sauce.
  12. Serve and enjoy
