Burrata cheese is an Italian cheese made from cow’s milk. Burrata is formed in a circle, It has a soft mozzarella shell wrapped around a creamy center that delivers a clash of sensations and a buttery consistency unlike any other.

When cut open, the creamy interior is revealed as it slowly seeps from the center like rich cream. It is mild, smooth and fresh. So good!

Bruschetta is one of my favorite appetizers because of the simplicity of it. I especially love the classic bruschetta during the summer months when our Jersey Fresh tomatoes we grow here on our farm are in abundance.

But it doesn’t have to be summer to enjoy this classic Italian recipe. Grab a baguette loaf and let’s make some Burrata And Fire Roasted Tomato Bruschetta.

Ingredients For Burrata And Fire Roasted Tomato Bruschetta

  • 1 small baguette, cut into ½-inch slices
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fire-roasted tomatoes
  • Fresh Garlic, chopped or minced
  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh Burrata cheese

How To Make Burrata And Fire Roasted Tomato Bruschetta

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.  Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.  Bake the baguette slices for 10 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and flip each slice over using a pair of tongs.

Place the baguette slices back into the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until just golden brown. Set aside to cool.

Burrata And Fire Roasted Tomato Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, cut into ½-inch slices
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 (one) 14 oz. can fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped or minced
  • Additional olive oil about 1 teaspoon) for garnish (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1-2 4 oz. balls fresh Burrata cheese (one ball will serve about 4 people)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.  Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.  Bake the baguette slices for 10 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and flip each slice over using a pair of tongs.
  2. Place the baguette slices back into the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until just golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  3. Pour the fire-roasted tomatoes into a medium ramekin. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

  5. Spread each baguette slice with ½ tablespoon Burrata and top with the tomatoes.
