Spring is here. We are all doing the happy dance! Have you thought about adding a new spring wreath for your front door yet? I have a really easy and pretty front door wreath project for you today. This Floral Monogram Wreath I created last week is a welcoming sign hanging on my NEW front door. I loved the way it turned out that I just had to share it with you.
Last spring, I showed you how to make a simple Spring Grapevine Wreath. Now I am back with another easy wreath project. That wreath suffered some wear and tear over the previous spring and summer and my front door looked lonely and lost without a wreath hanging from it. This Floral Monogram Wreath is what I created.
Just a few basic supplies is all that is needed.
Head on out to your local craft store. All of the items are readily available and easy to find.
24 inch Grapevine Wreath
13 inch Unfinished Monogram Decorative Letter
White Matte Satin Finish Spray Enamel
Colorful Decorative Ribbon
2 Silk White Wispy Floral Branches
1 Silk Pink Hydrangea Bush
Floral Wire
Begin by wiring the two wispy flowers to the wreath. The flower branches should point out in opposite directions.
Using a pretty ribbon of your choice, make a bow and secure in the center of the two wispy branches.
If you need a quick tutorial on how to make a bow, check out my post from last year on how to make a Grapevine Wreath.
I then, add a few colorful silk flowers to each side of the bow. You can secure with wire or by using a hot glue gun.
Last Step! Paint your wood monogram letter any color you wish. I choose white. Secure tightly with wire to the right side of your wreath. Here’s a tip: I also spray painted the wire white so it would blend with the monogram letter when I tied it to the wreath.
How easy was that! I love quick crafts. This Floral Monogram Wreath is a welcome addition to any front door! It is also a welcoming sign that spring is FINALLY here! I hope you give this project a try.
