After stocking up on Honey Nut Cheerios at Costco, you’ll want to run home and make this delicious Honey Nut Cheerios™ Apple Pie Snack Mix to pack in your kid’s school lunch. It is so easy to make.  Fall and apples go hand in hand and this snack is the perfect way to celebrate. It is not only packed with Honey Nut Cheerios but also Cinnamon Toast Crunch®, pretzels, and dried apples.

After melting the butter, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together. Pour over the cereals and pretzels and mix. Microwave for one minute and mix again. Repeat once more.

Spread out on a baking sheet to cool. When cool, drizzle some melted white chocolate over the top.

Talk about the perfect fall snack! You simply can’t go wrong with apples and cinnamon. This Honey Nut Cheerios™ Apple Pie Snack Mix will keep for several weeks (if it lasts that long) in a food storage container.

Honey Nut Cheerios™ Apple Pie Snack Mix

Celebrate the flavors of fall with this yummy Honey Nut Cheerios™ Apple Pie Snack Mix. It’s the perfect snack for your kids’ school lunch.

Ingredients

• 3 cups Honey Nut Cheerios™
• 2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch®
• 1 cup mini-pretzels
• 1 cup dried apples chopped
• 1/3   cup melted butter
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

1. In a medium sized microwavable bowl, mix cereals and pretzels together. Set aside.
2. Melt the butter. Mix the butter brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
3. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir well.
4. Microwave for one minute. Stir well and repeat microwave process 2 more times, microwaving one minute each time. Be sure to stir well after each.
5. Spread out on a baking sheet and cool.
6. Melt white chocolate melting wafers in microwave and drizzle over top of snack mix.
7. Store in food storage container.
