Mickey Mummy Cookies
These hauntingly adorable Mickey Mummy Cookies are the perfect Disney Halloween Treat. Make a batch for family and friends to share this Halloween.
Fall is just around the corner and it may not be a surprise to you but I love finding ways to incorporate Disney into the Halloween fun. I am so ready for fall, cooler weather, pumpkins and all the sweet treats associated with the season. These spooktacular Mickey Mummy Cookies are adorable, easy and the perfect way to share some Disney love with your family and friends.
I am not sure if I have ever told you, but I have a “thing” for sugar cookies. That “thing” is that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. If you ever want to earn a few brownie points with Melissa, just bake her a batch of sugar cookies. I can’t guarantee that I will share them with anyone, but you will certainly be my favorite person for the day. Since Halloween is just around the corner, I thought I should dust off my Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutter to make these cookies.
After the Mickey cookies are baked and cooled, mix the icing. Divide into to bowls. Color one bowl of icing black and leave the other white. Add some of the black to a piping bag fitted with a number 2 tip. Outline each of the cookies. Thin the remaining black with an extra tablespoon of water and fill in the cookie. Allow to dry.
Fill another piping bag with white icing fitted with a 104 tip. Pipe random white lines around the Mickey head it to make look like a mummy wrap.
