So, to celebrate the upcoming release of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, why don’t you make a batch for the kids. It’s so simple…and fun…and gooey.
Here’s what you need to make Pirate’s Booty Slime:
- 1 cup Clear Elmer’s Glue
- 1/4 cup – 1/3 cup Liquid Starch
- Fine Gold Glitter
- Chunky Gold Glitter
- Assorted Gems
& Small Pearl Beads
- Pirate Gold
Start by mixing the fine gold glitter into the clear glue. This helps to distribute the glitter evenly.
Now, add the liquid starch, a tablespoon at a time, into the glitter glue. Stir well after each pour of starch. Keep adding the starch until you find the perfect gooey consistency that you like. The more starch you add, the harder the slime will be.
Now, work in the gems. Add as little or many as you like.
If Captain Jack had any say in how this Pirate’s Booty Slime was made, I bet he would say the more gems the better.
