Spring is just around the corner. Hallelujah! This spring Rustic Farmhouse Welcome Wreath is the perfect way to say hello to warmer weather and sunny days. I love the farmhouse style decor that is so popular right now. I find the modern country charm calling my name. Farmhouse decor is an eclectic mix of rusticness, warmth, traditional and chic styles. It’s simple and clean style focuses on a neutral color palette but can easily have a splash of bold color mixed in.

I find a lot of people intimidated when it comes to making your own wreath or even crafting in general. Today’s post is going to take the stress out of all of that so you can make this farmhouse wreath all on your own. Thanks to The Ribbon Roll, I was able to choose some pretty spring ribbon to use for this wreath.

This Rustic Farmhouse Welcome Wreath is an easy DIY project. The Ribbon Roll is an online retail store that offers over 15,000 different styles of ribbon. Yes, you read that correctly, 15,000 different styles. This includes a wide variety of satin, sheer, holiday and wired ribbon. For this craft project, I choose a wired-edge black and white check ribbon pattern which is so common in Farmhouse-style decor. To add a touch of spring, I used a yellow and bumblebee patterned ribbon as accents.

Another note. I decided to wrap pieces of burlap around a wreath ring as the base. If you don’t want to do this step, you can use a grapevine wreath instead. Easy peasy swap-out!

Once you have completed wiring the burlap onto the wreath, now you can start adding some pretty white flowers for a fresh farmhouse look. I decided to give this wreath an asymmetrical look and only glue the flowers onto one side. If you want, you can certainly amp up your creativity and glue flowers all the way around the wreath.
