In the twists and turns of life, this Always Thankful Free Printable, reminds us to enjoy the little things in life.
It’s the season of giving thanks and today I am definitely counting my blessings. Thanksgiving is a perfect time for reflection. These last few months have been nothing short of crazy for my family. My son’s accident back in August, which resulted in a 3-week hospital stay and four surgeries, really put life into perspective for us. Next week he will undergo his fifth (and hopefully last) surgery to repair his badly broken leg. While AJ is on the road to recovery, there were some very scary moments for us and him over these last three months.
I am not telling you all this for sympathy, but mainly to reinforce that age old thought of “thankfulness.” Be thankful for what you have, who you are with and those everyday minuscule moments that we all take for granted. Life can be crazy and hectic but in this fast-paced world that we live in, we all need to take time to count our blessings – no matter how big or small. We should be “thankful” all year long, not just at Thanksgiving. Although, it is a perfect holiday to celebrate our blessings.
In the spirit of giving (and thankfulness), I am kicking off a new monthly series on the blog today. Each month, I am going to offer a free printable to you, whether it is a nice saying you can print and frame or a handy checklist you can use in your day-to-day life. It’s my way of saying thanks to all of you. You have all inspired me to keep learning and growing as a blogger. So, thank you!
