In the twists and turns of life, this Always Thankful Free Printable for fall reminds us to enjoy the little things in life. Download and frame this free printable and give thanks for life’s many blessings.
It’s the season of giving thanks and today I am definitely counting my blessings. Thanksgiving is a perfect time for reflection. These last few months have been nothing short of crazy for my family. My son’s accident back in August 2015, resulted in a 3-week hospital stay and eight surgeries, really put life into perspective for us.
Fast forward five years later. I am so proud of AJ and all his accomplishments. He endured a lot of pain, frustration and doubt during this journey. This kid is now nineteen and spreading his wings.
I am not telling you all this for sympathy, but mainly to reinforce that age-old thought of “thankfulness.” Be thankful for what you have, who you are with and those everyday minuscule moments that we all take for granted. Life can be crazy and hectic but in this fast-paced world that we live in, we all need to take time to count our blessings – no matter how big or small. We should be “thankful” all year long, not just at Thanksgiving. Although, it is a perfect holiday to celebrate our blessings.
In the spirit of giving (and thankfulness), I am sharing a favorite quote with your today – “there is always something to be thankful for.” It’s something that I would often tell AJ and our family during his road to recovery. You can download this free printable below.
