Kitchen Essentials Needed

Asparagus in an Air Fryer Tips & Tricks

  • For best results, don’t forget to trim the woody ends off of your asparagus. These ends don’t have much flavor and don’t cook well, so we trim them off. Just cut off the white or light brown part leaving only the beautiful green stem.
  • I always recommend freshly grated parmesan. The pre-shredded cheese has a coating to keep it from clumping that prevents it from melting well.
  • Remember to adjust your cook time according to the size of your asparagus. The thinner spears will cook in about 5 minutes, while the thicker asparagus could take as long as 8 minutes.
  • Spread the trimmed asparagus spears in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
