Raise your hand if you are ready for some Disney Halloween fun! Today I am combining two of my favorite things – Disney and Halloween. If you are a fan of all things Disney, like I am, then you will love these Minnie Mouse Witch Cauldrons.
This new recipe is a fun take on my popular Witches’ Brew cupcakes, except this time, I filled the cauldrons with a no-bake peanut butter cheesecake filling. This filling is then topped with a cookie crumble, frosting and a cute Minnie Mouse Witch Hat.

How To Make Minnie Mouse Cauldron Cakes
This recipe is very easy to make but there are just a few different steps involved. The first step is to make Minnie’s fondant witch hat. The fondant hats will need to dry overnight so this recipe is a two-step process.
Roll the purple fondant to 1/2 inch thickness. Using the witch hat cookie cutter, cut out 12 hats and place them onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
To make the bows, use the orange fondant. Pinch off about ½ tbsp of fondant and press into the smallest bow mold Make 12 bowls and place on the cookie sheet. Roll out the rest of the fondant and make 12 strips for the hat.
Assemble the hats by first dipping your finger in water and gently run it along the back of the orange strip. Place the orange strip onto the hat. Cut off any orange fondant hangover on the hat. Using water will help the fondant pieces stick to each other.
Gently wet your finger again and run it along the back of the bow. Place the bow in the middle of the orange strip on the witch hat.
To make Minnie’s ears, roll the black fondant out into ½ in thick and use the circle cookie cutter to cut out 24 circles. Set on baking sheet.
Allow all the fondant pieces to dry overnight.
Tips For Working With Fondant
Working with fondant is not hard. Here are a few tips to help you.
- Dust your work area with powdered sugar or cornstarch.
- Wear food-safe gloves or coat your hands with powdered sugar or vegetable oil.
- Bring fondant to room temperature before using.
- Knead your fondant well before you start to roll it or it will not roll evenly.
How To Build The Minnie Mouse Cauldron Cakes
Pipe about 3 tbsp of the peanut cheesecake butter filling into the cauldron.
Sprinkle about 2 tbsp of the cookie crumble onto the top of the filling.
Frost the center of the cauldron with the neon green frosting. Place the witch hat into the center of the frosting. Place one black ‘ear’ onto each side of the witch hat.
