Today’s post is brought to you by cuteness overload. Each year, I like to share an easy Christmas wreath craft that you all (or y’all if you are from the south) can recreate at home. This DIY Woodland Owl Christmas Wreath is super affordable, super easy and super adorable.
You read the super affordable part right. Most of the supplies for this easy craft I purchased at the dollar store. You can’t go wrong with a Dollar Store craft that is cute and cheap to make too. This whole project should take you about 30 minutes to complete.
If you can’t find any of the items listed below at the dollar store, check out your local craft store. And if you don’t like owls, whooo doesn’t like owls (see what I did there?), then swap him out for another woodland animal.
And if you love this Woodland Owl Christmas Wreath, make certain that you check out this Jolly Snowman Christmas Wreath tutorial and Nutcracker wreath as well!

How To Make a Woodland Owl Christmas Wreath Craft
Step 1:
Cut sweater to fit around the wreath. *Cutting horizontally along the bottom of the sweater is a great place to start.
Step 2:
Wrap the sweater and glue into place, keeping seem at the back of the wreath and not visible from the front.
Step 3:
Cut candle ring florals in half, removing any extra unnecessary plastic. Tie to the wreath with floral wire. This can also be glued instead. *This looks really nice when it’s on one side of the wreath, allowing the pretty sweater to show.
Step 4:
Glue in owl, pinecones, and additional floral sprigs.
Step 5:
To create a hanger, wrap floral wire around sweater and try to get it in between any ribbing to hide it. *For hanging a wreath that has decorations on one side, hold the wreath on an extended finger and see where it balances so decorations are centered. Tie on hanger at this point.
