Kitchen Essentials Needed To Make A Charcuterie Board
What can I do if I don’t have salami?
If you don’t have salami, you can use other cold cuts for this charcuterie board. In addition, you can make the roses with pepperoni slices, but they may be a bit more challenging to work with because they have a slightly different texture than salami.
How To Make Meat Roses for Your Charcuterie Board?
Deli Meat Roses are easy to make. To make them you will need a wine glass and some salami. Take your first slice of salami and place half of it in the glass with the remaining folded over the rim of the glass. Take your second piece of salami and place it halfway over the first layer, half of it in the glass with the remaining folded over the rim.
Take your third piece of salami and place it halfway over the second layer, half of it in the glass with the remaining folded over the rim of the glass. Keep going around the glass until you’ve used all 9 pieces of salami.
Take your glass, turn it upside down, and lightly press the salami pieces on top of the board. Remove the salami from the shot glass, set the rose to the side.
Which grapes are best to use for this charcuterie board?
Green grapes are an excellent choice. The color pairs perfectly with the red color of the cherry or grape tomatoes and the raspberries used on this Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Board. If you want to stick with a primarily red and green charcuterie board, use green grapes!
Do I need to add jam to this board?
No, it’s entirely optional. Some people like to place it in the center of the wreath to stand out, allowing others to dip their fruit and cheese into the jam if they’d like. If you’re not a fan of jam or simply don’t have it at home, you don’t need to worry about running out to get it for this Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Board.
