Jack-O-Mummy Pumpkin
Scare up some Halloween fun this year by making this simple Jack-O-Mummy pumpkin.
The ghosts and ghouls are getting ready for their big day. I, on the other hand, have not gotten down one box of Halloween decorations. I guess I better work on that. To start, I made this super easy {and pretty darn cute} Jack-O-Mummy. I’m all about simple crafts. This one is about as easy as it gets. If you haven’t had a chance yet, check out all of the Disney Inspired Pumpkin Ideas for some no-carve pumpkin inspiration.
I don’t consider myself craft-challenged but rather time-challenged. I love to decorate my home for fall. Things are so busy on our farm during this time of year that I, unfortunately, don’t get to enjoy the fall season as much as I’d like to. So I like to decorate with simple crafts and decorations, ones that don’t take a lot of time to make. This craft is easy and quick enough to finish in no time. This Jack-O-Mummy is a perfect kids’ craft too. Just help them with the glue gun step and they can wrap and wrap and wrap the Jack-O-Mummy up.
Here’s What’s Needed for the Jack-O-Mummy Pumpkin:
Dual Temperature Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
Here’s How To Make the Jack-O-Mummy Pumpkin:
Unroll the gauze. Beginning at the top of the pumpkin, place a dab or two of glue to secure the gauze. Wrap gauze all the way around the pumpkin and glue the gauze in place. If you want, you can fray the gauze before you adhere it to the pumpkin. This will give the mummy an aged look.
Glue a googly eye evenly on each side. Make sure they are peeking out of the wrapped gauze.
See, I told you this was a super easy Halloween craft! Look how cute {I mean spooky} this little guy looks! You can even make a family of Jack-O-Mummy’s. Just repeat the steps with pumpkins and mini-pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.
So, have you started your Halloween decorating yet? Hopefully, this Jack-O-Mummy will make an appearance on your doorstep. Happy decorating!
