As soon as the weather starts to cool, this girl starts craving all those popular seasonal drinks sold at the local coffee houses. With so many flavor combinations available, they are warm, comforting, and delicious.
But sadly, those delicious drink concoctions come with a pretty hefty price tag. As much as I love to enjoy a hot or cold coffeehouse beverage while I am out and about shopping or running errands, I definitely have to limit myself because they are a costly indulgence. But, thankfully Torani has a full line of flavored syrups so I can make my own at home.
Creating your own flavored drinks at home saves a ton of money! That is why I always keep a few delicious Torani flavors stocked in my pantry. Their syrups are just the ticket for creating those authentic coffeehouse drinks.
Torani syrups are also perfect to use in dessert recipes too. Torani Syrups are made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar & natural flavors. The sugar-free varieties are sweetened with Splenda™ – so all of the flavor with none of the guilt!
Since the holiday season is upon us, I am celebrating with a nice hot cup of Chestnut Praline White Hot Chocolate. It’s the perfect drink to serve at Christmas and during the cold winter months. White chocolate and Torani Chestnut Praline Syrup are the stars of this hot cocoa. It’s a fun twist on the traditional hot chocolate that the adults and kids will enjoy.
Ingredients For A Praline White Hot Chocolate
- Whole Milk
- Half & Half
- White Chocolate Chips
- Chestnut Praline Syrup
- Praline Pecans
- Whipped Cream
How To Make White Hot Chocolate
Start by heating up some milk, half and half, and some white chocolate chips on the stove. Before removing it from the stove, add a few tablespoons of the Chestnut Praline Syrup.
Before serving, line the rims of your mugs with some cinnamon sugar.
Garnish with a nice dollop of whipped cream and a few praline pecans. I’m going to be totally honest….I like more than a dollop of whipped cream.
Can I Use A Different Flavored Syrup?
Yes, you can substitute any Torani syrup but keep in mind, it will obviously change the taste of this recipe.
Do I Have To Use Half & Half
You can make this recipe using whole milk if you prefer. This will definitely lighten up the calories. If you prefer a low-fat milk, definitely use that instead. You can even subsitute the milk with your favorite non-dairy milk of choice.
