This Peach Caprese Salad is so quick to put together, and the combination of sweet peaches, creamy mozzarella, and salty prosciutto is incredibly refreshing.

What’s great about this salad is how flexible it is. Don’t have blueberries? Throw in some strawberries or raspberries instead. Not a fan of arugula? Baby spinach or mixed greens work just as well. You can easily adjust the ingredients to suit your taste or use what you have on hand.

If you’re planning ahead, this salad is perfect for meal prep. Just keep the dressing separate and add it right before you eat. The ingredients stay fresh, and you’ve got a delicious lunch ready to go. It’s also a great way to use up any extra peaches you might have lying around.

I find myself making this salad a lot during peach season. It’s fancy enough to serve at a dinner party but simple enough for a quick lunch. Kids love the sweet peaches, and adults appreciate the more complex flavors. Plus, it looks beautiful on the plate without much effort.

Peach Caprese Salad Ingredients

  • Arugula: Gives a nice peppery kick. If it’s not your thing, baby spinach works, too.
  • Peach: Pick one that’s ripe but still firm. No one likes a mushy peach salad!
  • Blueberries: For a burst of sweetness. You could use strawberries if you prefer.
  • Fresh mozzarella: The fresher, the better. Try to find the good stuff if you can.
  • Prosciutto: Adds a salty, meaty touch. Leave it out for a vegetarian version.
  • Olive oil, honey, and lemon juice: For a simple, tasty dressing.
  • Balsamic glaze: The finishing touch that ties it all together.

Peach Caprese Salad with Prosciutto Tips & Tricks

  • Use ripe but firm peaches. They’ll turn to mush in the salad if they’re too soft.
  • Want to make it ahead? Prep everything but keep the ingredients separate until you’re ready to serve.
  • Play around with the cheese. Burrata or a crumbly goat cheese would be amazing, too.
  • No balsamic glaze? Reduce some balsamic vinegar in a pan until it’s syrupy.
  • Make it a meal by adding some grilled chicken or doubling up on the prosciutto.
  • For a sweeter touch, try grilling the peach slices before adding them to the salad.
  • This salad is best enjoyed outside with a glass of crisp white wine!
