Things around here have been Amuck, Amuck, Amuck lately. While I absolutely LOVE the Halloween season, it is so darn busy. But, I still found some time in the crazy pumpkin season on our farm to create these bewitchingly cute Witches’ Brew Cupcakes.
Full of bats, bones and eyeballs, these cupcakes are a fun Halloween treat to make for your upcoming Halloween party, class party or just to enjoy with the family.
Fun Halloween Pumpkin Carving Ideas!
Remember when I told you that I love to create fun food. Sometimes fun food is just a creative idea using simple items that are found in your pantry. And sometimes, fun food consists of fun edible embellishments to take your recipe to the next level. The items above were from my recent “Michael’s haul.”
What Ingredients Do I Need to Make Witches’ Brew Cupcakes?
Craft stores are my weakness. So much so, that I could probably open up one here in my home. Anyway, look at all this fun Halloween “stuff” I found. It all started with the adorable cauldron cupcake holders that I found at Michaels which I could not resist. Once they landed in my cart, I spotted the bones, the bats, and the eyes, oh my! Of course, I also had to throw in a few containers of Halloween sprinkles too.
How Do I Make Witches’ Brew Cauldron Halloween Cupcakes?
Before adding all of the fun Halloween bits and bobbles, you have to give your Witches’ Brew Cupcakes a creepy look. I thinned out some vanilla icing with a little bit of water so the icing will pour over the sides. Because that’s what a witches’ brew does, right? I then separated the icing into two bowls and tinted one neon green and the other neon purple. Dip half of the cupcakes in the neon green and half in the neon purple.
Then, let your wicked witch artistry take place. By adding all the spooky Halloween candy decorations to the top.
The Sanderson Sisters will be so excited about these and so will the kids! The only spell she will be putting on us is how to stop at just eating one! No running Amuck with these fun Witches’ Brew Cupcakes!
